NARIP Appoints New Officers

NARIP is pleased to announce the appointment of Bobbie Beasley and Ohmare “O” Washington (pictured here) to official positions as Marketing Managers in its Houston chapter, joining NARIP Houston Executive Director Barry Coffing, Senior Director Roxell Richards, Esq., and Directors Lisa Schneider and Heidi Massin.  NARIP also appoints Rob Young to Marketing Manager in its San Francisco Chapter, joining Executive Director Tamra Engle and Director Nate Beats.

“With the appointment of three new marketing managers, we are expanding our reach dramatically.  With Bobbie, Ohmare and Rob’s marketing savvy and diligence, we are excited to take our Houston and San Francisco chapters to a new level.” says NARIP president Tess Taylor.

“Bobbie and Ohmare epitomize the DIY, relentlessly resourceful entrepreneur: both of them are smart, hard-working and dedicated, and have already contributed enormously to NARIP Houston growth and promotion of NARIP events in this region.  We are delighted to have them on board, and they have already proven to be valued assets to the organization.”

An aspiring music and entertainment attorney, Ms. Beasley was raised in a family of musicians whose calling is to assist musicians in forming fair contracts to ensure current success results in financial security.

Mr. Washington is an artist manager and owner of Flycat Music Group, which books talent, and creates marketing and promotion campaigns for artists.

Mr. Young is Creative Music Director for N8Beats Production and MakeYourHit.com, and a recording artist.  He performs artist development services for many independent artists around the world, aiding in project development, branding and marketing.

About Bobbie Beasley

Ms. Beasley hails from Minnesota where she was raised in a family of musicians.  After spending the early years of her life playing the piano and singing, Bobbie realized that her true calling was to assist musicians in forming fair contracts to ensure current success results in future financial security. An aspiring entertainment attorney, Bobbie will graduate with her Juris Doctor in December 2010. Bobbie has spent her time a law student under the tutelage of highly respected music lawyers and interning for a top entertainment company that has produced Grammy-award winning artists.

About Ohmare “O” Washington

Mr. Washington is an artist manager and owner of Flycat Music Group, a company which books talent, and creates marketing and promotion campaigns for artists. A former hip hop artist, Ohmare performed in London for deployed U.S. troops in 2008. In 2010, he single-handedly created  the United Front Tour, with performances across the country and around the world, ranging from Texas to Japan.

About Rob Young

Mr. Young is Creative Music Director for N8Beats Production and MakeYourHit.com, and a recording artist. With a background in marketing (PSU) and music business (Musicians Institute), his first onstage performance was at the Rose Garden Arena in front of a 20,000 + crowd. In 2007 he moved to Los Angeles to study under author Dan Kimpel, Burgundy Morgan, Esq., Charles Whitfield of Hidden Beach Records, and founding member of NWA, Arabian Prince. Shortly after, he joined forces with N8Beats Production to write, co-produce and consult on long term strategic planning. Since then, he has secured deals with artists such as Tech N9ne & record label Strange Music, Inc., and co-written and been featured on songs for artists such as Brotha Lynch Hung, Cognito and Abduel Hall. He contributes as a strategic advisor for Media Local Studios and performs artist development services for many independent artists around the world, aiding in project development, branding and marketing.
