In ATL – Modern A&R And Artist Development

Modern A&R and Artist Development

You are cordially invited to NARIP’s

Modern A&R and Artist Development

on Wednesday, December 8, 2010

in Atlanta

A&R and artist development are at the root of every financial decision a record company makes, and vital to the health of our industry. With A&R and artist development cut to the bone at most labels, the A&R executive’s role becomes even more important to help shape and guide talent from the studio to the marketplace.

In this NARIP session, you will discover the magic and the mystery of A&R, who’s getting signed (and who’s not), choosing the right producer, getting the attention of producers and A&R execs, signing with a major or indie, and more.

Get an insider’s peek at the economic and artistic realities of the fastest-changing, hottest business in the world and don’t miss this intimate, unique and interactive learning experience.

SPECIAL BONUS: NARIP Members Get Feedback From Panelists. NARIP members will have the opportunity to select one (1) song to be played live at our event to receive direct feedback from our speakers. Only NARIP member material will be selected to receive feedback (one submission per person). If you would like YOUR material (or your artist’s material) to be critiqued by our expert panel:

Submit a demo and receive live feedback from a music industry expert. Find out if you have a commercially viable hit!
