Career Achievements:
In the beginning of my career I was a full time freelance writer and editor for many publications, including Billboard, Foundations, Mean Street and many others. In 1995, I co-formed an independent record label and we signed with Warner Bros. Records/WEA for distribution. The label won a Grammy Award in 1999. I have been involved in management for many multi-platinum recording artists, songwriters and Producers, including, Jason Newsted (bass player of Metallica), Butthole Surfers, Arnold Lanni (Producer of Our Lady Peace), Marcos Curiel (Guitarist and songwriter of P.O.D.), Kevin Max (one of the singers of dc Talk) and Phil Madeira (guitarist for Emmylou Harris). Since 2003, Pitch Music has assisted securing record deals for several artists with Atlantic Records, EMI Music, Roadrunner Records/Island Records and Tooth & Nail Records. Recently, our clients have had great success in songs being placed in television commercials for Victoria’s Secret, Hilton Hotels and we just assisted Wienerschnitzel with music for their 50th anniversary campaign.
Professional Goals:
I have recently started a company called Sweden Loves You! that focuses on creating global opportunities for artists in Sweden. Our first band has recently secured song placements in campaigns for Coca Cola, The Gap and other large brands. We are aiming to build more opportunities for artists, record labels, songwriters and music festivals in Sweden.
I am also focused on building a publishing company and increasing our presence more with the advertising community.
