The young and dynamic Winnie Jow launched her career as an intern at the Los Angeles Music Network and the National Association of Record Industry Professionals. Backed by recommendations from Deborah Holland (Professor of Commercial Music at California State University Los Angeles and former lead singer of Animal Logic) and John Esposito (President, WEA Inc., Warner Music Group’s U.S. sales and retail marketing company), her persistence flickered on NARIP president Tess Taylor’s radar and Jow has been working with LAMN and NARIP since 2004.
She has developed partnerships for LAMN / NARIP with companies such as Indie911.com, Live365.com, iFanz, What Is Indie?, BETA Records and LA Music Pipeline. She is Co-Producer of the LAMN Jam Series in Hollywood, California. WINJOW has been called a “networking queen” and her passion for independent music has led to collaborations with local organizations including Los Angeles Musicians United (LAMU), Los Angeles Women In Music (LAWIM), Los Angeles Musicians Academy (LAMA), Los Angeles Recording School (LARS) and Los Angeles Film School (LAFS). Winnie Jow plans to organize live events for independent success in the NEW music industry.
