Winnie Jow launched her music business career at the Los Angeles Music Network (LAMN.com) and the National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP.com) in 2005 where she helped to develop marketing partnerships with music companies in the greater Los Angeles area.  Ms. Jow co-produced the LAMN Jam Music Contest series in Hollywood, California.  An “Original American Idol,” LAMN Jams enable songwriters to hone their craft by performing original works and getting live feedback from a panel of industry professionals.  Songwriters who won the LAMN Jam have gone on to write Billboard Top 100 Hits and have win several Grammy Awards. In 2007, Warner/Chappell Music, Inc. recruited Ms. Jow to negotiate agreements and draft synchronization licenses for legendary songwriters including George and Ira Gershwin, Michael Jackson, Green Day, and Katy Perry.  She administered over 2,500 contracts before leaving to pursue a law degree.  After graduating with a Juris Doctor degree from Western State College of Law in 2015, Ms. Jow has been promoting the interests of copyright holders and helping to uphold and protect intellectual property rights across the US, Europe, and Asia. At Cambridge University, Ms. Jow studied intellectual property rights, the Uniform Commercial Code, and the International Sale of Goods. She is excited for the growth of the National Association of Record Industry Professionals on the international stage.
