John Houlihan

John Houlihan is veteran music supervisor and music producer who has helped shape more than 55 feature films and dozens of popular soundtrack albums. His work has generated worldwide hit songs and videos by Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, Pink and Destiny’s Child. Film highlights include his music supervision of all three Austin Powers films, both of the Charlie’s Angels films, and Training Day, which earned a Best Actor Academy Award for Denzel Washington. John was involved in the 2008 Presidential Election when he music-supervised two important pieces for President Barack Obama. “A Mother’s Promise” was a 10-minute biography Directed by Oscar-winner Davis Guggenheim that premiered at Bronco stadium in Denver, CO. The film was seen live by millions worldwide when it played immediately before Mr. Obama took the stage to speak. The second piece was a 30-minute television special that aired days before the final Election Day vote. This special was broadcast simultaneously on over 7 major networks in the United States and viewed by a huge world audience. Over the past year John has worked on national advertising campaigns for Visa Inc., CTIA (the cell phone association made up of Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and more) and the American Beverage Association. John has succeeded in building a unique skill set on films ranging from Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 to the G-rated Charlotte’s Web. His work spanning all genres can be seen in Assault On Precinct 13, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, The Lake House, Nacho Libre,The Love Guru, All About Steve, Miss Congeniality: Armed and Fabulous, Fame, and the 2010 release Brooklyn’s Finest. Current projects include the romantic comedy “Letters To Juliet” featuring an original song by platinum artist Colbie Caillat, 2010 Nicholas Cage thriller “The Hungry Rabbit Jumps,” and the public education documentary “Waiting For Superman” directed by Davis Guggenheim which includes an original end title song by John Legend.

Ben McLane, Esq is an entertainment attorney veteran focusing primarily on music, with many gold/platinum albums and Billboard Top 10 and #1 chart hits to his credit for his work in conjunction with musical artists/projects in various genres over the years (e.g., Guns & Roses, Dixie Chicks, Nine Inch Nails, Alicia Keys, etc.). Ben has also been involved in artist management, talent scouting, promotions, and record label operations in the entertainment field. Ben is one of the few entertainment attorneys who actively “shops” record, publishing and distribution deals for new and established artists, producers and songwriters. Ben is a 1991 graduate of Pepperdine Law School and lives and works in the Los Angeles area.

Carolyn Richardson music supervises for Entertainment Tonight and The Insider where she searches for, identifies and secures rights for music to enhance programming of these shows. She brings almost a decade of experience in event marketing, sponsorship, promotions, distribution, and music licensing for companies such as Sony BMG, Image Entertainment, Live Nation and others. She also brings a tenacious entrepreneurial spirit to licensing and provides pitching services to independent publishing companies, songwriters, producers and score composers for placement in all media platforms. Her passion is to use the power of music to bring audiences together, tell stories and inspire positive change. On the creative side, Carolyn is a singer and songwriter who began her career in music in the gospel church. Her credits include songs placed on ABC Family, SpikeTV, The Weinstein Company, BET and Utopia Films. Her goals are to continue her current success in music supervision, licensing and publishing by bringing great music to the masses. Carolyn is a Christian and enjoys participating in music outreach programs for the sick, shut-in, poor and homeless.

Alyson Vidoli

Boston native Alyson Vidoli was intent on breaking into the music industry when she moved out to Los Angeles nearly a decade ago. Her lucky break came when she scored a position with Gary Calamar of Six Feet Under fame. Something clicked and Calamar took Vidoli under his wing and the two have worked together ever since. Vidoli has co-supervised various shows and independent films with Calamar. Current projects include hit TV shows True Blue, Dexter, House and Men Of A Certain Age.
