Andy Gould
Co-Head of the Music Division, Partner The Firm

Andy joined The Firm in 2000 as co-head of the music division and partner bringing with him a highly qualified staff and an impressive list of artists including Rob Zombie (3x platinum), Linkin Park (3x platinum), Powerman 5000 (1x platinum), and Static X (gold), from his company AGM. Andy has been in the music industry since the mid ‘70s when he worked at George Martin’s AIR London, Pebble Beach Studios, CBS Publishing, and then Worldwide Entertainment. Andy managed such acts as Kool & the Gang, Regina Bell, and The Manhattans. During his tenure at Worldwide, Andy began managing Max Norman the producer who oversaw the recording of Ozzy Osbourne’s comeback album “Blizzard of Ozz”. That proved to be Andy’s ticket into the hard rock genre. He struck up a partnership with Walter O’Brien at Concrete Management, and built a solid reputation being the management force behind the success of bands such as White Zombie and Pantera.

Rick Sales
Sanctuary Artist Management

Rick Sales graduated from the University of New Hampshire where he served as the campus concert chairman for two years. There he acted as promoter, booking large shows in the school’s hockey-sized arena.

He began his career as an agent with the jazz booking agency handling Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny and Gary Burton before moving to a more rockin’ environment at the legendary ‘70s enclave, Stiff Records, where he was involved in all aspects of the road.

Rick rose to become one of the premiere tour managers of the ‘80s hitting the concert trail in charge of Blue Oyster Cult, Inxs, Herbie Hancock, Dokken, Tesla and Ratt. In 1988 at super-producer Rick Rubin’s request, he took over the formal managerial reigns of the heaviest thrash band to ever emerge from the underworld, Slayer, the dark yet profitable foundation of Rick Sales Management. RSMA expanded to include other seminal hard rock acts Sepultura and Machinehead.

In January 2003, Rick merged his empire with Sanctuary Group. He represents Slayer, Escape From Earth, Abloom, Fu Manchu, Bad Acid Trip and Death By Stereo.

Arthur Spivak
Spivak Sobol Entertainment

Arthur Spivak is one of the entertainment industry’s most versatile personal managers, with over twenty-five years of experience in representing talented musicians and actors. For the last fifteen years his company, Spivak Sobol Entertainment, has managed some of today’s most influential musicians. Arthur, along with his partner Stu Sobol, manages A Perfect Circle, Queens Of The Stone Age, Yellowcard, 3 Days Grace, The Distillers, The Calling and Vanessa Carlton.
