Kandi Robinson, CEO & Creative Director, The Audio Plugz

Kandi Robinson is founder of The Audio Plugz which provides music licensing and A&R services as well as music supervision, production, music publishing and administration services.  She writes for major US and international artists, and is hired by other entities to facilitate co-writing and other collaborations in the US and internationally.  She recently music supervised two stage plays, a short film, two independent movies and sound-designed a mobile app video game. From learning to play the piano at the age of 5, to writing her first children’s book at the age of 7, Candace “Ink” Robinson has evolved into a leading writer in the industry. She has landed placements with shows, networks and brands including on Power, Grey’s Anatomy, Necessary Roughness, American Pickers, Gunseli Deniz, Dove, Timberland, Disney, Nickelodeon and others.

Julie K. Roach, Esq. enjoys practicing law to support artists and creatives in the advancement of their careers, and to ensure that their works are respected and protected. Julie received her Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law, and graduate with a certificate in Transactional Law and Skills. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Music and Philosophy. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia. Julie has worked with ASCAP, at The Coca-Cola Company, and with several solo practitioners. She was also on the executive board for Emory’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Julie is an active member of the National Association of Record Industry Professionals board and the planning committee for the Atlanta Bar’s annual LawJam as well as a member of the State Bar of Georgia Entertainment and Sports Law section. As Director of Volunteer Services at Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, Julie helped provide pro bono legal services and educational programming to low-income artists and non-profit arts organizations. At Live Nation Entertainment, Julie works with the Artist Rights Acquisition team to draft, negotiate, and execute artist agreements, music licensing and publishing contracts for promotions, live streaming, and video on demand. Julie is also the Principal Attorney and Owner of Julie K. Roach, Esq., LLC, a law practice focusing on creative entrepreneurs and intellectual property. Julie has played alto saxophone for over 15 years and works for the Georgia Theatre, a famous music venue in Athens, GA.
