Alex Hackford, Director of A&R, Sony Computer Entertainment America
Alex Hackford is Director of A&R at Sony Computer Entertainment / Playstation, where he oversees products like MLB, Gran Turismo, Uncharted, Sports Champions, Little Big Planet, and others. Responsibilities also include musical brand promotions, including Playstation’s involvement at music festivals such as Coachella and Lollapalooza. Prior to Playstation, Hackford was a manager at Sanctuary Artist Management in New York, working with clients like Morrissey, SlipKnot, Early Man, and Axl Rose, as well as an A&R man at Columbia Records. Some of Hackford’s credits include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, God of War III, Fat Princess, infamous, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, MLB 08: The Shoe, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Lair, MLB 07: The Show, PAIN and others.
