About NARIP

NARIP brings together the brightest minds and leading innovators in the global record and music industries. Together, NARIP members shape the future of how music will be created, marketed and enjoyed throughout the world.

Based in Los Angeles with chapters in 9 major cities including Philadelphia, NARIP has connected countless people to jobs and opportunities, cultivated business and creative collaborations for over two decades, and helped launch hundreds of projects and several new enterprises.

NARIP sponsors events like these to encourage networking and the fostering of business relationships in the record and music industries. Over 75% of all great opportunities, deals and job offers come about as a direct result of second and third party referrals – who you know matters. So get to know more people in the record biz, and let them get to know you!

Please join us to meet existing friends and contacts, and make new ones.  Bring plenty of business cards and your suggestions for topics and speakers you’d like to hear.  We want to know how we can help you.

Here’s what people say about NARIP:

“NARIP provides new opportunities and innovative ways for professionals to connect with each other and get discovered.” Aton Ben-Horin, Global VP of A&R, Warner Music Group

“Over the years, NARIP has consistently introduced me to licensors and artists all over the world resulting in a lot of placements in my projects and quite a few friendships. The small format for the workshops allows me to get to know everyone in the room. NARIP cares about its members and connecting them for mutually beneficial working relationships.” Andrea von Foerster, Music Supervisor, Firestarter Music (Chronicle, The O.C., (500) Days of Summer)

“NARIP is an incredible resource… My last NARIP Music Supervisor Session introduced me to great people such as Bill Stankay, a composer who is now becoming very popular with LA trailer supervisors. Roniit is a singer whose collaboration with score composers got our attention, and a track of hers was placed in the theatrical trailer for The Loft. The license was substantial enough for her to quit her job, and focus on writing and recording full time. Without NARIP, our paths might have never crossed!” Patrick Buchanan, Music Supervisor, Ignition Creative (The Hobbit, American Hustle, Assassin’s Creed)

“NARIP’s mock negotiations offer a rare insight into how deals get done by top industry professionals.” Kristina S. Groennings, Esq., Business & Legal Affairs, Rhino Entertainment Company, a Warner Music Group Company

“NARIP events are always rich in content and practical in application, they deliver results. REALLY enjoying the MP3s – those mock negotiations are priceless!” Peter Spellman, Director of Career Development, Berklee College of Music

NARIP “is top notch and brilliantly executed.” Music Connection Magazine

“I’ve had great results from NARIP Sessions and have had many music placements come from them as a direct result.” Jessica Cole, Lyric House Publishing

“Secrets of Online Music Marketing was one of the best programs I ever attended at NARIP and anywhere else for that matter.  Kudos!” – Jack Rannells, Esq. Music Attorney
