NARIP is pleased to announce the promotion of Dubbs Beck to Executive Director and the appointment of PJ Douglas Sands to the Board of its Houston chapter.

They join NARIP Houston Board Members Heidi Massin, Anita Long and Ami Blackwell.

“NARIP Houston’s outgoing Executive Director Heidi Massin has a great eye for executive talent,” says NARIP president Tess Taylor. “When she tapped Dubbs Beck to join NARIP’s Board, she picked a winner. We are delighted to have Dubbs join us, and more recently PJ Douglas Sands who is also exceptional, and help take our Houston chapter to new heights.”

Dubbs Beck has been an active and reliable presence at NARIP events, and has assisted significantly in outreach and organization. Similarly, PJ Douglas Sands has been a strong presence and advocate for professional development and educational outreach that have become NARIP trademarks. Both Dubbs and PJ are hard-working, dynamic and full of great ideas… with the smarts to execute. They epitomize the modern music executive who wants to learn, grow and improve in every way though they are already accomplished. Dubbs’ experience in artist management and talent development, and PJ’s track record in artist branding and communication plus her work with chart-topping artists, make them valuable additions to NARIP’s board. Their expertise benefits NARIP and NARIP Members to great advantage. They have both proven to be assets to the organization, and we are delighted to have them on our team!

Says outgoing Executive Director Heidi Massin who remains active on NARIP’s Board, “Dubbs Beck is committed to taking NARIP Houston to the next phase of advancement! He is able, willing and most determined to lead the chapter for the local music community and beyond!”

Says newly appointed Executive Director Dubbs Beck, “PJ Douglas Sands is an amazing person. In the pursuit for excellent board members, I had no idea the gift I was getting with P.J. Most detailed person I have ever met, she is knowledgeable in many areas of the industry, has brilliant ideas and is wonderful with people – a real gem!”

Since launching in Houston in August of 2009, NARIP has established a strong and growing presence in Texas.
