Anecdote: during the program we attended online, Atkins told the story of an artist at SXSW seeking $10,000 in sponsor funding to create merch, whereupon one of his friends said all she needed was $2. Then with nothing more than a Q-tip, bleach, a spray bottle and a few old T-shirts, she created merch that has become collectible and highly valued by her fans. Atkins showed us how.

Martin Aktins
Martin Atkins is the definition of entrepreneurial activity in cultural arts endeavors, his 35+ years in the music business spans genres and borders and industries. He was a member of Public Image Ltd and Killing Joke.
