After graduating from college as a communication arts major, Paul took his lifelong love of music and started his career in the ad music business as a recording engineer at NYC’s busiest studios.  He worked for the ad biz’ biggest clients and ad agencies. From there he landed at BBDO NY as Music and Radio Producer where he produced music for many of their biggest and award winning accounts including Pepsi, FedEx, GE, Visa, and HBO. Paul was recruited to join Young & Rubicam NY as Senior Music Producer and eventually rose to the position of Vice President Executive Music Producer, handling music production on Y&R’s biggest accounts such as Dr Pepper and Diet Dr Pepper, Campbells Soup Co, LG Electronics, Met Life, Genworth Financial, U.S. Army, and 7up. He also worked with Y&R on a campaign for New York City’s bid for the 2012 Olympics, which won the AICP First Place Award for Best Musical Arrangement and the Pella Windows account which was nominated for a television EMMY Award. Paul has worked with many great recording artists such as Ray Charles, Lionel Richie, Luther Vandross, Lou Reed, The Beastie Boys,  They Might Giants, Whitney Houston, Patti Austin, The Boys Choir of Harlem, Boyz II Men, Frank Sinatra Jr., Glen Frey, Donald Fagen of Steely Dan,  Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals, Neil Sedaka and Michael Bolton. He has also worked with noted film composers Mark Mancina ( Lion King, Twister, Tarzan, Con Air), Mark Mothersbaugh ( The Royal Tannenbaums, Rushmore), and Rob Mounsey (Sex in the City and Working Girl). Paul has also recorded and produced notable celebrities like John Cleese, Bill Cosby, Cindy Crawford, Shaquille O’Neal, Walt Frazier, Gary Shandling, Madeline Kahn, and George Foreman. In 2009, Paul became Senior Creative Director of indie music publisher Spirit Music Group, where he placed music in spots for AT&T, Puma, Verizon, & M&M’s.  In 2011 Paul was brought on as Director of Music & Radio Production at global ad agency JWT to lead their music department and collaborate on music branding ideas across all media.
