CEO of Answerman Management, Marketing and Promotion and CO-Owner of American King Music. Erik’s vast range of entertainment experience comes from stints at Interscope Records, Loud Records, #1 radio station Hot 97, Elektra Records as well as Jive Records serving in marketing and promotion roles. In 2006 Erik started Answerman Management, Marketing and Promotion signing his first artist MIMS to a 5 album deal with EMI/Capitol Records, serving as the Executive Producer for the album that grossed over $14 million. Since 2007, Erik has signed 3 of his clients to major recording deals generating over $18 million in revenue. Furthermore, he has successfully implemented strategic and progressive marketing initiatives over his 14-year career and is a proven leader in developing new revenue streams for ongoing businesses in the entertainment industry. In 2010 noticing the popularity of American Idol’s national television show and the market for gimmicky digital singles signed General Larry Platt to his American King Music imprint. His novelty record “Pants on the Ground” sold over 200,000 copies in 2 months landing it in the Top 15 on iTunes sales chart. Toward the end of 2010, Erik signed his client Baltimore POP R&B singer Wish to Jive Records distributed thru Sony Entertainment. In early 2013, he signed former Epic Recording artist Kingston Jamaican songstress Jovi Rockwell to a management agreement. He also serves as a consultant for Young Money/Cash Money recording artist Shanell as well as Grammy award winning producer DJ Blackout. Erik’s accomplishments range from negotiating multi million-dollar major recording and publishing deals to booking tours and negotiating licensing deals including the $9 million MIMS Microsoft Zune campaign.

– Youngest Northeast Regional Promotion & Marketing Manager during Elektra Records history – Executive Produced 2 major label albums at 28 years old that have grossed over $16 million for Capitol Records spawning a #1 worldwide record in 2007 selling over 5 digital singles and ringtones combined – Either signed or managed 4 musicians that grossed over $25 million for Major Labels
