NARIP Appoints Kessler to Atlanta Board

“We are pleased to appoint Julie Kessler to NARIP’s Atlanta Board and are excited to take our Atlanta chapter to a new level with her help,” says NARIP president Tess Taylor.  Since launching in Atlanta in June 2010, NARIP has established a strong and growing presence there.

“Since becoming involved as a volunteer last year, Julie has taken over NARIP’s Twitter account, and we’ve seen dramatic increase in “followers” as a direct result.  She has been a virtual tornado of ideas, useful suggestions and support, all of which combine to make the NARIP experience better for everyone.  She has also been active in strengthening our ties to the local music business community and various organizations in Atlanta.  As a young music attorney, she also epitomizes the modern music executive who wants to learn, grow and improve in every way.  Julie is smart, hard-working and dedicated, and has already contributed to NARIP Atlanta growth and promotion of NARIP in this region. We are delighted to have her on board, and she has already proven to be a valuable asset to the organization.”

“I am thrilled to welcome Julie as the newest board member of the NARIP Atlanta team,” say NARIP Atlanta Executive Director Chloe Peacock.  “Since she began volunteering with NARIP last year Julie has contributed greatly to our growth and success.  With her passion for music, promotional skills and drive, Julie will no doubt continue to help elevate NARIP’s Atlanta chapter as well as the music and entertainment communities in Atlanta.”

Says outgoing Executive Director Beth Moore (who remains on NARIP’s Atlanta Board), “As a recent law school graduate, Julie Kessler brings a special set of skills and knowledge to the NARIP Atlanta chapter. Her passion for the music industry, mixed with her organizational and marketing skills, has helped NARIP Atlanta achieve new levels of growth and popularity over the past few months. Julie has become an integral part of our chapter’s operations, so we’re very happy to welcome her as our newest NARIP Atlanta board member!”
