Long-time NARIP member and award-winning songwriter, composer, producer and engineer Gary Gray just landed his second Telly Award in two years. Gary teamed up with award-winning AI scientist and composer / pianist David Fogel for both Telly Awards.
Last year’s winning entry was the soundtrack for “Path of Totality,” a time-lapse film of the total eclipse of the sun. This year’s winning entry is titled “Dream of a Childhood Sun,” featuring super high-definition footage of the surface of the sun. Both productions are now being featured in over 80 planetariums worldwide.
Both musical soundtracks feature David Fogel on piano along with a full symphony orchestra, and were co-arranged, produced, mixed and mastered by Gary. Video post-production editing was also done by Gary who is currently working on projects for 20th Century Fox, several independent artists and again with David Fogel, working on their 2020 Telly Award Submission.
Gary is a Voting Member of the Grammy Recording Academy and is one of the most sought-after mentors for music production in the LA area.
