ABOUT CARLY VAN SKAIK

Van-Skaik-CarlyCarly Van Skaik was born in Seattle and moved to St. John USVI (a small Caribbean island) at the age of 9. She attended the University of Texas in Austin where she fell in love with live music.  In 2011 she fell into the world of music supervision and now together with Ann Kline co-supervises Shameless, which was nominated for Outstanding Music Supervision by the Guild of Music Supervisors in 2015.  She also music supervises independent films and just completed supervising a James Franco indie film (Blood Surf).  Currently she is working on on The Magicians (syfy), The Goldbergs (ABC Family), Animal Kingdom (TNT), Super Troopers 2, American Woman (TV Land) and others.  She is a member of the Television Academy and on weekends she likes to hike, hang out with her friends and her dog Tucker. She loves animals and grew up riding horses. She also loves a good glass of rose on a hot summer day.
