VQ Creative’s Vince Quintero was our special guest at NARIP’s Synch Agent Pitch Session in April where attendees presented music for his projects and films, and for representation.

NARIP Member Kurt Bordeaux (who pitched via Skype from Canada) is now signed and officially represented by Quintero – congrats! Quintero – a long time fixture of the music business – gets 6 to 12 briefs a day, so the probability of placement feor Kurt has increased exponentially.

“Just wanted to thank you again for your wonderful service. [I] just finished signing the paperwork with sync agent Vince Quintero,” says Bordeaux to NARIP, and “you’re amazing!”

Top tips for marketing music: Quintero tells us music supervisors like to get music first, so “the fresher, the better” – unreleased music tends to be more place-able and attractive for this reason. Supervisors also like music beds or instrumentals, as these don’t conflict with dialog and are easier to place.

Thank you for making time for our session Vince!
