You are invited to NARIP’s
Pitch-A-Thon: Pitch, Listen & Learn
Experts listen and give live feedback to music.
on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Atlanta
So many NARIP members have let us know how much they value NARIP’s Music Supervisor Sessions (like the recent one in Atlanta with VH1’s Paul Logan) and the opportunity to get feedback from experts like James Barber, Sean “Jo Blo” Johnson and Steve Jones at our recent Modern Artist Development Strategies.
We hear you! And now there’s more.
At NARIP’s upcoming Pitch-A-Thon, music placement experts will detail what makes music more (or less) marketable in the highly competitive world of music placement. They will listen and give live feedback to music presented to them for evaluation.
You will learn:
- What do music buyers look for?
- What are the best outlets, shows or platforms for specific genres of music?
- What attributes of music make it more marketable?
- What makes lyrics more useable and likely to be placed?
- Production values: why broadcast quality is a MUST
- Avoid these 5 things to dramatically improve placements
This program will also cover:
- Most important parts of a music license
- Paperwork: do’s and don’t’s
- Opportunities for developing songwriters
