San Francisco NARIP Appoints Two New Directors

Engle_TamraNARIP is pleased to announce the appointment of Tamra Engle and Nate Beats to leadership positions in its San Francisco chapter. Engle is appointed Senior Director of Marketing and Programs, and Beats takes on Director of Membership and Outreach.

“San Francisco is an important region for music, the arts and technology, and we are delighted to have a strong and growing presence there,” says NARIP president Tess Taylor. “Tamra and Nate epitomize the modern music entrepreneur: both have immense business savvy and music experience – they are both creators – which is essential for success in the modern music industry. With their uncommon blend of music, business and strategic experience, we are poised to take this chapter to a new level.”

Engle has worked with Fortune 15 companies across the entertainment sector, and is developing two community-based programs, one of which will put music in schools. With a Grammy nominated album to her credit and several national tours under her belt performing her own music, Tamra understands the challenges of being a modern musician-songwriter, and consults artists at all experience levels to create marketing and promotion strategies to support their careers.

Heavily steeped in urban and hip hop genres with a growing list of credits to his name, entrepreneur-producer Nate Beats is well-positioned to reach urban youth and speak their language.

“We’re delighted to have bring Tamra and Nate on board to grow NARIP in this important and cutting-edge region that brings the world so much great music.” Engle and Beats will follow in the footsteps of former San Francisco directors Kerry and Gian Fiero, who just welcomed their first child this month. NARIP sends best wishes to parents and the little fellow.

Meet Ms. Engle and Mr. Beats in San Francisco at NARIP’s Holiday Mixer to take place at El Rio on Thursday, December 10. Come hear what we have planned for NARIP San Francisco 2010 and let us know what you want and need! Click here for details.
