The National Association of Record Industry Professionals (www.NARIP.com), the biggest music business network in the world, and the Berlin Music Commission (www.berlin-music-commission.de), the music industry network of Berlin, combine forces to produce events featuring top music supervisors and experts in music pitch sessions, networking and concerts at Berlin Music Week 2012. The events promote music, business and culture across borders.
The day begins with a keynote speech by Tess Taylor (From Art To Sales: How To Make The Most of Berlin Music Week) followed by intimate music pitch sessions with Director of Create Advertising Heather Kreamer (The Amazing Spiderman, The Campaign, Total Recall) and Director of Film Music for Universal Pictures Angela Leus (American Reunion, Pitch Perfect, RIPD). Both based in Hollywood, CA, Heather and Angela will be in Berlin seeking music for their current projects, and music publishers, record execs, managers and others will present to them for consideration.
The day’s program also includes Expert Networking Sessions and an opportunity to meet and interact with 7 successful investors, music buyers and content curators. A boat ride on the scenic Spree caps off the day with “Wunderbar – German Bands On Board.” Initiativ Musik invites guests for a musical boat ride featuring three Berlin newcomers Fenster, Camera and Me and My Drummer who will perform to an international audience.
